Location Location Location?
When buying clothes, people invest time and money to ensure that they get the right look. Should the item be in style or out, fitted or loose, long or short, patterns or blocks of colour, plain or bright… clothes have an endless range, and are only limited by a person’s imagination and daring.
But does the location of where the item of clothing is bought matter too? Once upon a time, buying from a market stall or cheap shop would instantly mean fashion suicide. But these days, even supermarkets are having a go (128 Tesco stores managed to stock and sell Levi jeans at a knock down price in 1997, angering Levi Strauss), and are often not that short of the mark.
But, does this “cheap and cheerful” make high end fashion redundant? Or is it how you wear it?
